PresidentTatjana Pavicic, MDMunich, Germany | Dr. Tatjana Pavicic is a board certified dermatologist specializing in cosmetic surgery and aesthetic services with her own private clinic in Munich. She sets her specific focus on a holistic individual approach for face & body combining botulinum toxin, fillers and energy-based devices like lasers, radiofrequency technologies and micro-focused ultrasound. She is an internationally respected speaker and trainer on advanced cosmetic dermatology and surgery and a globally recognized key opinion leader in facial medical aesthetics. Dr. Pavicic is member of various national and international dermatologic and cosmetic societies. She is the General Secretary of the International Peeling Society, a board member of the International Society of Dermatologic Surgery, a board member of the IMCAS Academy, an honorary member of the French Dermatologic Society, a founding member of the Merz Institute of Advanced Aesthetics, past president of the Dermocosmetic group in the Society of Dermopharmacy, and past board member of the International Society of Dermatologic Surgery. Dr.
Pavicic has extensively published in international journals both in the
dermatological and the aesthetic fields since 2001 (> 60
publications and book chapters). One of her main areas of research are
combination treatments as well as avoidance and treatment of filler
complications. Since 2004, she has been involved in multiple studies
with different molecules and compounds (botulinum toxin, dermal fillers,
lasers, energy-based devices, dermocosmetics, and their combinations).
Additionally, Dr. Pavicic followed a training in medical management and
marketing at Shangal and WHU in Vallendar. |
Dr. Hector Leal Silva, MD & PhD is Board certified and recertified by the Mexican Board of Dermatology, with 30 years of experience as dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon. Dr. Leal has a PhD in Bioethics and is an EdD in organization development and change candidate by Pepperdine University. He leads iDerma, Specialists of the Skin and Cosmetic Surgery in Monterrey, Mexico, one of Latin America's largest and most equipped private institutions dedicated to clinical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, and investigative scientific research. He has participated as principal investigator in more than 35 Clinical trials; is or has been a researcher and/or scientific advisor for Roche, Lumenis, Alma Lasers, Palomar, Solta Medical, Galderma, Humacyte, EndyMed, Syneron-Candela, Zeltiq (Allergan), Jeisys Medical, Lutronic, Sofwave and Aerolase. Member of more than 20 prestigious National and International medical societies. He has co-authored seven scientific books in English, Portuguese, and Spanish and has published more than 30 peer reviewed articles. Additionally, he has presented by invitation over 350 conferences in international congresses worldwide. He contributes as assistant editor and member of the editorial board of the Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology; is also the head professor of the subspecialty course for dermatologist on technology and procedural dermatology, at the University of Monterrey. Also teaching postgraduate interventional dermatology and dermatologic basic sciences. Dr. Leal is a past President of the Nuevo Leon Medical College of Dermatologists, member of the board of the IMCAS Academy, past member of the board of both, the Mexican Society and the Academy of Dermatology; served as president of the DASIL Annual World Congress in 2020 (virtual), and in Mexico City in 2022, and is the Director of RegioDerma, International Biennial Congresses of Dermatology since 2017. Dr. Leal is currently the president-elect of DASIL, Dermatology, Aesthetics & Surgery International League, to serve as president between 2024 and 2026. |
